The Land of the Midnight Sun
The International Children's Games in Reykjavík 2007 are held during the peak of summer. This offers our guests the chance of an unforgettable experience, characteristic of the northern regions, the midnight sun.

The longest day of the year is on June 21st. Midsummer Night will be celebrated on June 23rd and in Icelandic folklore many superstitions are connected to this day. The participants will hopefully enjoy sunny

days and light nights in Reykjavík in 2007.

2006

15^th September Invitation sent to cities from Official Invite List

1^st November Deadline for Registration/Intent to participate and entry by number and sport

1^st November Deadline for payment of ICG committee participation fee of 250 Euro

15^th November Invitation sent out for extra places

2007

15^th January Deadline for Registration/Entry by number and sport for extra places

1^st March Entry of all participant and adult details

Entry by name and a digital passport photo

1^st April Deadline to return all signed forms

20^th June Arrival of participants to Reykjavik

21^st June Opening Ceremony

24^th June Closing Ceremony
